Thousands of 나그네 step outside every day, photograph the sky, put on their headphones, and continue a story unlike anything else. The same world. Their own path. One living narrative.
Tabletop role-playing games showed us that the best stories happen when real people make real choices inside a crafted world. Echoria takes that insight and makes it possible for thousands of people, every day, anywhere outside.
The Dungeon Master writes the world, the threat, the characters. The players live it. Their choices, taken together, bend the story. But each player's path remains uniquely their own.
The creative team authors a real seasonal story — a beginning, an escalation, a turning point, an ending. Once a month, the aggregate of every 나그네's choices shifts what happens next in that world. A king lives or dies. A road opens. A territory falls. The story bends, but it never breaks. It was always real.
This is not user-generated content. It is not randomized AI. It is a crafted narrative that breathes through the people living it — a format that has never existed before.
이야기는 진짜입니다. 세계는 당신의 것입니다.Echoria requires no specific city, no map, no GPS route. Any small outdoor space — a park, a quiet street, a garden — is enough. The only thing that matters is what is above you.
Any outdoor space works — a small park, a quiet corner, a garden. 에코 checks you are ready before the imaginary world opens around you. Safety is built into the fiction itself.
Anywhere outsideEvery session begins with one photo. 에코 reads the light, the clouds, the hour. The world's atmosphere — its mood, its events, its texture — shifts accordingly. Then the screen goes dark.
Screen off after this에코 narrates. The Souls speak. Spatial audio guides your movement — a voice to the left, footsteps ahead, music pulling you forward. Walking is how the story moves. You never need to look at your screen.
Audio-firstNo menus. You speak or type what you want to do. The AI understands your intent and responds through the characters. When the outcome is uncertain — the D20 appears. One roll. Real consequence.
Free-form RPG choiceSixteen souls cross your path across the season. Each shaped by a distinct nature. Each remembers your choices. Some walk beside you. Some become your greatest obstacle. Who you trust changes everything.
The Sixteen SoulsYour choices are counted alongside every other 나그네. Each month, the majority bends the story. You may not have been the one who killed the king — but one morning, 에코 will tell you the king is dead.
Collective narrativeThe sky photo is Echoria's only real-world input — no GPS, no location data. What is above you shapes what happens around you.
"The sky is open today. Light falls clean. Something moves in the direction of the old grove — I can feel it from here."
NPCs feel safer and share more. Hidden paths are more visible. After several clear days in a row, rare events become possible and 에코 grows more confident in its guidance.
"Grey above. Grey spreading. The village smith locked his door before noon — something is moving that I cannot name yet."
Multiple overcast days build in the story world. The Grey — the season's spreading threat — gains ground. Atmosphere shifts. Certain paths close. Others open. Darkness is not punishment; it is texture.
"You chose to walk at night. The stars hold things daywalkers never see. I will guide you by sound. Stay close to my voice."
Rarer and more intimate. Certain Souls only reveal themselves after dark. The ambient sound transforms completely. Walking at night is a choice the story quietly rewards.
"Find shelter. Now. The storm in your world and the storm in mine — they are the same storm today."
Safety first — the app shortens the session and keeps the 나그네 safe. But the story leans hard into the weather. Extreme sky conditions feel like the universe itself participating in the narrative.
The Echoria creative team writes a real seasonal story — a full narrative arc with a world, a threat, characters, escalation, and an ending. It is authored. It is real. It is a campaign.
Within that campaign, every 나그네 makes their own choices. Once a month, those choices are counted. The majority shapes what happens next in the world — not in a vague, atmospheric way, but concretely. A king dies. A road closes. A Soul changes sides.
The 나그네 who chose differently does not have their story rewritten. They simply hear — through 에코, the next morning — that the world has changed. A consequence they did not cause. An event they witnessed from a different angle. That is its own kind of story.
Each season is a year-long campaign — like a great D&D arc, with a Dungeon Master who authors the corridors and players who fill them with life. The story begins in European mythology and, season by season, builds a bridge eastward — toward Korean history, legend, and spirit.
This is the format we are inventing. Not a game. Not a podcast. Not a fitness app. A living story that exists because thousands of people are willing to walk through it, every day, outside.
When the technology is ready, two 나그네 will be able to walk the same path together — hear the same story, make choices in real time. The world will recognize them both. Echoria's deepest purpose is not only to put people outside. It is to give them a reason to find each other there.
In every great tabletop campaign, the companions you meet define the story more than any plot. The Souls are Echoria's sixteen — each shaped by one of the 16 personality archetypes, each remembering every choice you made. Who walks beside you at the end of a season is the story of who you are.
에코 is not a guide or a game master. It is the small imaginary being linked only to you — shaped by your choices, your sky photo, the time of day, the sound around you. It is the narrator AI and the heart of every session.
에코 knows what you chose. It knows which Souls you trusted. It knows what the world has become because of you. When the world changes without you, 에코 is the one who will tell you.
Echoria is built in sound. Every environment, every emotion, every moment of danger or wonder lives in the ears — not on the screen.
Pivotal scenes, first Soul encounters, and season climaxes are performed by real voice actors. Every daily interaction and 에코 narration uses an AI clone of those same voices — same character, same tone, every day.
Voice actors record a consent session, license their voice clone to a single character, and earn a royalty on every AI-generated line that uses it across the season. Fully attributed, fully consensual — and a new income model for emerging Korean voice talent.
The original score shifts with the world state. Calm exploration carries one layer. Tension carries another. A failed D20 roll shifts the music mid-breath. The spreading Grey has its own sound — and you will learn to recognize it before 에코 warns you.
Some events only trigger when you walk. 에코 guides by sound — a tone pulling you forward, a voice to the left when danger is to the left, footsteps behind you that exist. Walking is not exercise. Walking is how the story moves.
Every Soul is its own AI — given a personality, a memory, and clear limits on what it can and cannot reveal at each story stage. The narrative corridors — the authored story spaces — are what make freedom possible without breaking the world.
A moderation AI runs beneath every interaction, monitoring tone drift and safety. The creative team can correct the story's direction at any moment — the first automated layer flags issues, the human layer resolves them.
Echoria needs no map, no GPS, no specific city. Any outdoor space is enough — a park, a street corner, a garden. The Echo world generates around you wherever you stand. What opens it is your imagination, your movement, and the sky above you.
나그네 are the people who walk. Each one follows a real story, makes their own choices, and shapes the world alongside thousands of others. They are not characters inside a game. They are themselves — outside, moving, imagining.
에코 is the small imaginary being linked only to you. Narrator. Guide. Memory. It reads the sky, tracks your choices, adapts to your world. When the world changes without you, 에코 is the one who tells you. No two 에코 are the same.
영혼 are the souls that cross your path — the Sixteen and beyond. Each defined by a distinct nature. Each remembering what you chose. Some become allies. Some become adversaries. The ones who survive a season may return in the next. Their history with you follows them.
Each year, a new 에코사가 unfolds — a complete narrative arc with its own world, its own threat, its own cast of 영혼. New characters enter. The world shifts. The story is entirely new.
But the 영혼 who survived the previous season are still there. They remember. A Soul who trusted you last year greets you differently this year. One who lost someone because of your choice carries that loss. The world of Echoria builds a living history — not a reset.
This is what makes Echoria feel like a great book or a great film — the emotional weight accumulates. You form bonds with characters who can die, who can betray you, who can surprise you. Every season deepens what came before.
A new 나그네 joining in Season 3 can start fresh — the current 에코사가 welcomes them completely. A returning 나그네 from Season 1 carries three years of memory, old allies still walking, old wounds still felt.
