In Echoria, the people you meet are not chatbots, and not branching menus. Each one is a written soul that stays itself — from the first word to the thousandth — and remembers everything you, the Attuner, chose.
Most AI characters drift — they forget who they are, contradict themselves, and slowly stop sounding like anyone at all. Scripted characters have the opposite problem: they can never surprise you.
Echoria solves both at the source. Under every character lives a single Background Sheet — a written document, authored by a real storyteller, that is always loaded beneath every interaction. It is what lets a character speak freely and still stay unmistakably themselves, whether it is their first scene or their fortieth.
인물은 진짜로 살아 있습니다.The character is alive — written like a person, not assembled like a bot.
Sixteen of these souls — the 영혼 · Souls — carry a full sheet. The secondary people you meet along other paths carry a lighter version of the same one. One structure, every character.
Every soul is built on two simple splits — and once you hold them in your head, the whole thing makes sense.
Who they are, written once: their wound, what they want, what they secretly need, the lie they believe, the way they laugh, the sound of their silence. This is fixed. It is the part that must never bend.
Who they areWhat they have lived — rewritten constantly. Their mood right now, how much they trust you, every choice you made with them, and how they feel about a world that changed while they watched.
What they rememberA real author writes the character in full prose — as long and as deep as they like. No jargon required: write the life, and the personality follows from it, never the other way around.
The deep versionA distilled core of that soul is carried into every single moment of conversation — small enough to travel, complete enough that the character never forgets who they are.
The carried versionThere are no menus in Echoria. You simply say — out loud, or in text — what you want to do. The character understands your intent and replies on-voice and on-story, in words written fresh each time, so a moment never sounds the same twice.
Behind every reply, the soul's sheet sets four quiet dials. The storyteller tunes them; the character improvises within them — free, but never out of character.
진짜 대화. 메뉴는 없습니다.A real conversation. No menu in sight.
Trust is earned and lost. Approval rises when you act in line with what a soul values, and falls when you betray it — and at certain thresholds, that bond unlocks deeper truths, a quest only they can give, a romance, or a turning to adversary.
Who walks beside you at the end of a season is not random. It is the story of who you were. The souls who survive may return next year — and they carry their history with you into the new world.
당신이 한 선택을 기억합니다.They remember what you chose — and they treat you accordingly.
A soul who lost someone because of your choice carries that loss. One who trusted you greets you warmly a year later. The emotional weight accumulates, like a great book that remembers its reader.
The same soul sounds different beside a friend than in the grip of fear. Echoria builds characters in facets — not a single setting — because that is what keeps them from going flat.
How they speak to the one being linked to you — guarded, or open.
The face they choose to show the Attuner who just arrived.
The edge that only comes out against someone they distrust.
Who they become when the world stops being safe.
We never start from a label. We start from a life — the parents, the wound, the choices — and the personality is the read-out of that life. The contradiction at the core is what lets one person bend in opposite directions without ever breaking.
Echoria is one shared, authored story. Once a month, the choices of every Attuner are counted, and the majority bends what happens next — not vaguely, but concretely. A king lives or dies. A road opens. A soul changes sides.
If you chose differently, your story is not rewritten. The next morning, 에코 simply tells you the world has changed — a consequence you did not cause, witnessed from your own angle. And every soul reacts to it in character: they grow, they harden, they grieve — but a small Drift Guard of fixed truths makes sure they never become someone else.
The king is dead. Those who chose mercy wake to hear it from 에코. New roads open because of a power they never supported — the world moved without them, and every soul they know now speaks of the king in the past tense.
Echoria plays with the screen dark. A character has no face to show you — so its voice, its laugh, and the sound of its silence are not decoration. They are how it physically exists in the world.
Pivotal scenes, first encounters with a soul, and season climaxes are performed by real voice actors — the emotional anchor of the character.
Every daily interaction uses a consent-based AI clone of that same actor's voice. Same character, same tone, every single day — written fresh, never canned.
Actors record a consent session, license their clone to a single character, and earn a royalty on every AI-generated line that uses it — fully attributed, fully consensual, and a new income model for emerging Korean voice talent.
Tap a soul — its first words to a traveller, in the voice it will keep for life.
You are the Attuner — 공명자: the one who resonates with this world, who walks outside and lets the story open around them. You are not a character inside a game. You are yourself, moving, imagining, choosing.
And 에코 is the small presence linked only to you — narrator, memory, and anchor. No two are the same: yours is shaped by your choices, the sky you photographed, the hour, the sound around you. Echo knows what you chose, which souls you trusted, and what the world became because of you. When the world changes without you, Echo is the one who tells you.
당신은 공명자입니다.You resonate. Echo answers. The world remembers.
Echo cannot take a single step beside you — it is your anchor, not your guide. So it becomes the still point you always return to. And when you must leave for the day, it never says goodbye. Only: see you next time. I'll be waiting.
